Inspection Required

Jan 16, 2020

Even if you plan to sell your house as-is, some cities may require that a point of sale inspection be completed. Make sure you consider that when finalizing the agreement to sell your house. The cost of the inspection could be seller or buyer paid, and that should be clearly understood by both parties. Most likely the buyer will be able to take on the responsibility for any city required repairs but that should also be part of any agreement and any documents formalizing that agreement signed at closing.
