Please Remove Shoes

Whether you’re listing your house, selling as-is, or an investor working on a rehab property, at some point you may not want anyone walking through the house with their shoes on. Especially during periods or rain or snow, outside shoes can track dirt, mud and moisture into the house and damage existing or new flooring, especially carpet. Post a sign for people to remove their shoes if you’d like to them to, and leave a rug or mat out for them to be placed on. If there are areas of the house that require foot wear, or if it’s summer and some people may not be wearing socks, consider buying an inexpensive box of paper booties for people to slip over their shoes.
